The two-volume code is required for anyone shipping Dangerous Goods by vessel, and features updates and revisions regarding packaging and stowage requirements for water reactive materials. The mandatory date of compliance for this amendment is June 1, 2022 and voluntary compliance begins January 1, 2021.
